3 Floor Apartment - New York, NY

NY STATE OF MIND.

This New York apartment was a one-of-a-kind design experience. A single, refined older gentleman asked to renovate his Soho apartment. He smelled just like these images suggest: musky, masculine, leathery, finely aged. For this project, I literally depicted his SELF into a living space. I embodied his refined characteristics, dark yet sarcastically witty mood, and warm charm throughout the interior, within its colors and textures. With dark leathers, wood, smoked glass, tall ceilings, and white microcement walls, there is a perfect blend and balance between light and dark.
