BORDEAUX.

I had the great pleasure of traveling to France several times for pleasure, my husband’s space tourism company, which allowed us to attend the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), and a friend’s 40th birthday at a winery in Bordeaux, France. I fell in love with both the people and the country, and met a lovely couple who asked me to design their 4-bedroom home in Paris. I stayed true to the authentic mixed patterns and vibrant colors, as well as textures like velvet, in true Parisian style. The couple loved to entertain, which is how we met them in the first place, so I allowed for multiple gathering spaces, each uniquely laid out. There was also a third-floor loft artist space, seeping with natural light, that I was quite envious of. I can still smell the lavender and wood musk of that space.
