Ivy Condo Lobby - Brickell, FL

FIRST IMPRESSION.

Think of this as the building’s first impression. What matters most in your greeting? Is it in the lighting? The finishes? The comfort of the furniture? The staff? All of these elements play a large role in a “welcome”. For this project, I used natural woods and ivy-like accents to tie in the existing green marble wall slabs and Ivy theme. The decor and furniture were comprised of layered textures in both fabrics and decor finishes, to bring in natural elements and weaving patterns, creating depth. The lighting was a key element to bring in warmth. I custom-designed the couch for this area, as a need to create a piece of furniture on which you can sit on 3 different sides, facing in 3 different directions. The wave couch showcases the together yet separate seating options, creating a nice flow around it.
