4 Bedroom Home - Los Angeles, CA
THRIFTY.
For this project, the client wanted to upcycle as much as possible, which I am always a fan of. Not only do you get one-of-a-kind pieces with history, wear, and (if sourced properly) awesome energy, but you also create less garbage in the world. The furnishings, light fixtures, and art were either thrifted locally or curated by me along my travels. Some of the furniture and art the client already owned and wanted to incorporate. I used some of those pieces as focal points, which I then built the surrounding theme and flow off of. The bed theme, the leftover bricks from the demo phase, artistically mimic the growing pains required to get to beauty.
